The Masai Mara Game Reserve is situated on the South-Western region of Kenya. This park is one of the most prestigious Game Parks in the world. Your journey from your hotel takes you through the scenic Rift Valley. While travelling through the Rift valley escarpments, you can opt to take a break for a photography moment at the Rift-Valley’s viewpoint. This 5 and a half hour journey across Kenya’s scenic Rift valley floor is truly memorable. You will get to spot monkeys, zebras, antelopes before even getting to the Masai Mara.
Upon your arrival, you will proceed to check-in at your tented camp in the Masai Mara. We choose the best tented camps and lodges for you. Including; giraffes, hippos, hyena, crocodiles while the birds include Ostrich,Grebes, Heron, Secretary birds, Vultures, Eagles among many more bird species.
The main attraction in this esteemed game park is the annual wildebeest migration safari. This migration occurs every year from July to September. More than 500,000 wildebeest migrate from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania crossing over to the Masai Mara Game Reserve via the Mara River and also Talek River. The dramatic scenes are when the wildebeest and zebras cross over and the predators are hot on their heels to catch their next meal. It is truly an ideal photographic moment while on this safari.

We will spend the day exploring and taking photographs in Masai Mara, with its abundance of large mammals and diverse bird life. We have the option to either have full and complete day out in the field when lunch can be served out on the savannah or we can return to the lodge for lunch. Big cats are a very prominent feature of the Masai Mara and also include Cheetahs and Leopards, both of which are fairly straightforward to find here. We are definitely at ‘Predator Central’ here and there can be few.
if any wildlife spectacles anywhere in the world that can rival the tension, drama and emotion of a Mara crossing. As many as a million wildebeest and 200,000 zebra attempt this epic journey each year. Watching as thousands of wildebeest and zebra gather at a crossing point you can almost feel the pressure build on the animals at the front as they consider the right time to attempt to cross the dangerous waters of the crocodile-infested Mara River. It is, however, a time of plenty for the gigantic Nile Crocodiles that live in the river and lie in wait as hundreds of thousands of animals head north from the Serengeti Plains to feed on the lush Mara grasslands.
