Tsavo West & Amboseli Budget safari

The tour starts with a visit to Tsavo West national park. We will spend the afternoon exploring the park to see wildlife such as leopards, cheetah and large herds of Elephants. Prolific bird life close to 600 species have been recorded here besides the scenic beauty of this great park. Our second destination on this tour would be Amboseli national park. This is the only park that offers the best views of Mt Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is also home to large herds of wildlife and bird life. You will spend 2 nights in this park viewing game. You would spend 2 nights at either  Amboseli Sopa Lodge or Amboseli Sentrim camp. The Kenya budget safaris takes you across the Great Rift Valley. You will make a brief stop at the viewpoint to enjoy the scenic views before reaching Naivasha in good time for lunch.

Excursion available in Lake Naivasha include:

• guided walking safari in Crescent Island.
• Cycling at Hell gate National park.
• sunrise or sunset boat ride excursions in Lake Naivasha to see the hippos and bird life.

You’ll enter Lake Naivasha. Here you’ll take a water safari, sailing past hippos and enjoying views of the abundant bird life populating this freshwater lake. Look out for the giraffe and zebra on the nearby shore.

Masai Mara Budget Safari 

Finally we visit Masai Mara for 2 nights of game drives to Mara river, talek river or sand river. In order to witness the wildebeest crossing if traveling from July to October. Masai Mara is the world’s most famous game reserve. it is in Masai Mara where you find the BIG 5 and other wildlife in abundance. You will see wildlife such as lions, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, leopard, antelopes, and elephant. While in Masai Mara we recommend either hot air balloon safari and  Masai cultural tour . While in Masai Mara guests stay at either  Enkorok Mara Camp, Mara Sopa lodge, or Osero lodge depending on availability.

When does the great wildebeest migration happen in Masai  Mara from Serengeti ?

From July to October of every year. The Annual Migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti  in search of water and pasture flock on their heels to the Masai Mara. A spectacle of the predators preying on the wildebeest and zebras is witnessed from the Mara River as the marvel of the survival of the fittest prey takes place. While on this tour we recommend hot air balloon safari so as to witness the wildebeest migration. One can take a tour to the Masai Mara at any time of the year since one is assured of seeing the Big 5 and other wild game
