We all know then, the likes of Maasai Mara national reserves where you can the great annual wildebeest migrating, Tsavo national park The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, Amboseli is often called the ‘Land of Giants’ – due to the impressive elephants here carrying massive tusks. They are the superstars of parks and animal reserves. What not everyone seems to know is that there are nearly 50 national parks and reserves in Kenya. Some such as Mwea, Bisanadi, Sibiloi… may be reserved, perhaps camera-shy, but they pack some of the hottest thrills to be found in nature.
